HGV's registed before 2006 and lighter vehicles built before 2002 will face
expensive upgrades to get your vehicles ready for Londons new
Euro4 and Euro3 emission standards.
Due in January 3 next year,£100.00 or £200.00 daily fines if vehicles are not
up to the new emission standards.
these can reduce emissions by up to 80% and could save you from having
to pay the cost of fitting a special filter,
£1,500 to £3,000 for vansand £3,000 to £7,000 for HGV heavy lorries.
There are an estimated 72,000 vans,minibuses and light utility vehicles
which will have to meet the new standards.
